If you are using Samsung, it shows an app icon with an SDcard on it to indicate that an app is uninstalled. This sign has nothing to do with your actual SDcard. All other apps that were pre-installed on the phone will continue to function uninterrupted.

  • Enter the phone Settings,
  • scroll down to Application Manager
  • find the app under the Downloaded tab
  • Now clear its data, disable or uninstall it as you wish.


Steps to turn on Safe Mode on Samsung Note 4

Following steps you have to follow if you want to turn on Safe Mode on Samsung Note 4. These include:

  • Firstly, turn “OFF” the Note 4
  • Now press and hold the power/lock button at the same time until you see the “Note 4″ logo
  • When the logo shows up, immediately hold the Volume Down button, while releasing the Power button
  • Keep holding the Volume Down until your phone finishes rebooting.
  • If it was loaded successful, a “Safe Mode” will show on the bottom left corner of the screen
  • Let go of the Volume Down button
  • To exit “Safe Mode” press again the power/lock key and then touch Restart.

As mentioned above that when the Note 4 is in Safe Mode, this will disable all third-party services and apps until the Note 4 is out of Safe Mode. By disabling the third party services and apps, you get into the device quickly, enable or disable whatever you need to, then restart.

Steps to get Samsung Note 4 out of safe mode

By following given steps, you can easily get your device off from safe mode. These include:

  • Restart the Samsung Note 4 and it will return back to the Normal Mode
  • Enter recovery mode
  • Some Samsung Note 4 models, may require you to press and hold the Volume Down button during startup in the same manner as enabling it to exit Safe Mode.
