RingCentral Account Login
Now that you’re a RingCentral subscriber, it’s important to learn how to view and manage your online account. The RingCentral Online Account lets you access your fax and voicemail messages, as well as modify your call handling rules, greetings and alerts, and many more. If you are an administrator managing other employees’ accounts, you can also change their settings and call handling rules.
Since Administrators can just contact RingCentral support for help with their accounts, let’s focus our discussion to user-level accounts.
How To Login RingCentral as a User
Step 1: Launch a browser on your computer or mobile device, and enter the following URL: https://service.ringcentral.com. You can choose any browser to access the site, but the recommended ones are Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Internet Explorer.
Step 2: Once the page loads, you’ll see a login box with empty fields for your account information. Refer to the image below:
Step 3: On the top part of the login box, click on the drop-down button, then choose the region where your account is located, as indicated by the country’s flag.
Step 4: Key in your RingCentral Direct Phone Number on the space beside the region drop down button, enter your chosen password, and click on the Sign In button. Alternatively, you can also login using your RingCentral Main Company Number plus your Extension Number.
When you’re logging in using a new device, you will be required to verify your account. There’s also an option to make your next logins easier by checking the “Remember me” box. This stores your RingCentral Phone number on the browser, so that you’ll only need to input your password on your next login.
When you enter the wrong login credentials, you’ll get a prompt saying that your phone number and passwords do not match. You can retry, or if you simply can’t remember your password, you’ll be given a link to reset it.
How To Reset RingCentral Forgot Password
If you can no longer log in to your account because your password doesn’t match your phone number, you can reset it with the following steps:
Step 1: Click the “Forgot Password” link right under the Sign In button. This will direct you to a new page with a new set of information fields that you need to fill out.
Step 2: Fill out the required fields with the right information, including your phone number, the extension, and the auto-generated Captcha code. Once done, click on the “Next” button. Refer to the image below for more details:
Step 3: Enter your answer to your Security Question. The answer is not case sensitive, so you don’t have to worry about which letters are on upper or lower case. Once you’ve answered, you can now click on the Submit button.
If you are a non-admin user and you don’t remember your security question, just contact your Account Administrator to directly reset your password, or just change your extension’s security question and answer. Once you’re logged in to your account, you can then modify the question and answer for your privacy.
Step 4: Now, if you have entered the correct answer to your security question, you will be prompted that an email has been sent to the email address set for your extension.
Step 5: Access your email account, and look for the RingCentral notification email in your Inbox. If it’s not in your inbox, check your Spam folder. The email would look like the following:
Step 6: You can now click the link on the email and you’ll be redirected to a page to reset your password. Enter your New Password, retype it on the Confirm Password box right below, and then click Save to update the information on the server.
Once you click Save, you’ll be automatically logged in and redirected to your RingCentral account page.
